Rakning is a national digital contact tracing program in Iceland. In addition to the Android app, we have also launched a website where you can log in and track your own personal results.
How does it work?
Download the app on your phone, and you are ready to start. If you are not sure if you have COVID-19, we recommend that you do a self-test. This can be done at home, at the pharmacy, or at the hospital. You will receive a notification if you have been in contact with someone that has COVID-19.
You will then have the option to follow the instructions and get help from the authorities. If you choose to do this, you will be notified when the person that you have been in contact with is diagnosed with COVID-19.
After that, you will be able to decide what to do. You can either stay calm and follow the instructions, or you can panic. If you panic, you may end up being diagnosed with COVID-19. This is why it is important to follow the instructions in the app. If you do not, you may end up being diagnosed with COVID-19.
You will also be able to track the progress of your own personal exposure.
